Let's not make it personal

This blog is not going to join in the personal jibes at Hayley Taylor; there are quite enough of them out there, and I'm rejecting all the comments which are insulting. Some of the comments have been provoked by a Guardian article: "Hayley Taylor: I've felt what the unemployed feel: losing confidence, staring at four walls." All the pre-publicity for "The Fairy Jobmother reinforces the suspicion that this series is about Ms Taylor rather than about unemployment. But we'll see.

I think he or she is referring to the Hegelian dialectic.

Or is an Icke fan? Or both?

In my opinion it's media sensationalism and just another part of the social conditioning that is painting all of the unemployed is a similar not so favourable light.

To garner support from the general public and potentially sway mass opinion away from an empathic view into an endorsement of whatever measures the institutions in question deem suitable for the average scrounger. Or even if you are one of the genuine ones!

I hasten to add that 'scrounger' is not my view. Such types exist, but not to the extent many may believe.

Of course many intelligent and rational human beings will see through such propaganda.

    Just my tuppence.

Historian - Is this your blog? Keep up the good work.

    Regards.
